State Fare

Bold and creative Texas cuisine made from scratch comes out of the kitchen at State Fare. Dig into their housemade chips and Dill Pickle Dip to start, then choose from a variety of soups, salads, large plates and sandwiches. If you are a macaroni and cheese lover you’ll be enamoured with their dressed up versions of this American classic.

State Fare has favorites and new classics that are as bold and diverse as the state of Texas. The menu features over 70 items including many local favorites. The menu offers snacks, bowls, salads, plates, mac ‘n cheese, sandwiches, sides as well as cakes and pies, the menu has something to tempt everyone. In addition, the restaurant offers a menu for kids 12 and under on divided, metal trays.

Delicious menu items include anything from Roasted Oysters, Smoked Double Cut Pork Chop, Dill Pickle Dip with house made BBQ potato chips, State Fare Cheeseburger with hand cut fries, JIMMY’S “Texas Red” Beef Chili which can be enjoyed in a bowl – with garnishes, of course or as a Frito Pie or even chili cheese fries. If you know Ellis, then you know there has to be a special Mac ‘n Cheese section of the menu with four different offerings as an entrée or big enough to share.

State Fare has a robust beverage menu. Try one of the 41 craft beers on tap or a libation from the wine and cocktail menu designed by Cherry Pie Hospitality’s Beverage Director, Laurie Harvey.
