Meet Spring Shadows real estate expert, George Grant Burch and hear what he loves about the area and advice he would give to buyers before making their move.
Tell us a little bit about you, the human.
I am a person who is never satisfied being a spectator and always participate to the fullest. I love meeting people and getting to know what makes them tick. I would rather entertain than be entertained.
When I know how to do something that someone else needs help with, I feel it’s my duty to step in; what talents I have are yours for the asking! I respect and honor peoples’ differences and love to learn what I can about other cultures.
I have a soft spot for all animals and currently have 3 cats.

Why did you get into real estate?
I have always been interested in houses and architecture. I spent 30 years in sales management for a major retailer, and when that position ended, it seemed natural to take my sales experience to the next level.

What’s your favorite part of real estate?
I love people, and I love houses; putting them together to make homes is my favorite part of real estate.

What do you love most about Spring Branch?
I think the neighborhood is at the beginning of a renaissance, and I tell my friends and clients “the beltway is the new loop!” I love that business owners see this, and are building restaurants, cafes, stores, and amenities at an amazing rate!
The diversity of the people gives us an amazing assortment of cuisines from “cheap eats” to fine dining not found in the suburbs, and the proximity to the city gives us time to enjoy them instead of commuting!

What advice would you give Spring Branch buyers?
Spring Branch is a very large area, and each neighborhood in “the Branch” has unique characteristics. We have everything from newly-constructed executive homes to sprawling ranches on large lots, so there really is something for everyone.
Give your Realtor® as much insight as possible to your lifestyle, taste, and needs so he can guide you to the section of Spring Branch that will suit you best.
